# Slice X vs Retro TD

The clearest difference is update cadence: Retro TD at every 3 days against Slice X's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slice X sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Retro TD sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slice X ships an update fortnightly, Retro TD every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
