# Mini Progress vs How Long

The clearest difference is update cadence: How Long at fortnightly against Mini Progress's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mini Progress sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and How Long sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mini Progress ships an update every 2 months, How Long fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
