# Opus vs Nekodo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nekodo at every 4 days against Opus's every 6 months. Opus's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Opus sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Nekodo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Opus ships an update every 6 months, Nekodo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
