# Subscriptions vs Slicer

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Slicer at 13.0 against Subscriptions's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subscriptions sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slicer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
