# The Artclock vs SecondLoop

The clearest difference is update cadence: SecondLoop at every 3 weeks against The Artclock's every 4 months. The Artclock's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Artclock ships an update every 4 months, SecondLoop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
