# Rewired vs TaskLock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TaskLock at 100% against Rewired's 45%. TaskLock also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). Rewired's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 15) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rewired sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and TaskLock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rewired holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rewired has 1.3K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Rewired's written reviews are positive against 100% of TaskLock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rewired ships an update every 9 days, TaskLock every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
