# ReadySet vs Ago

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ago at free against ReadySet's freemium. Ago also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReadySet sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Ago sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ago holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 17 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ReadySet ships an update every 9 days, Ago every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
