# AltMail vs Temp Mail

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Temp Mail at none against AltMail's 3. AltMail's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AltMail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Temp Mail asks for nothing beyond the download.

AltMail ships an update every 2 days, Temp Mail every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
