# Re vs Mendly

The clearest difference is ads: Mendly at none against Re's shown. Re's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Re sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Mendly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Re ships an update every 2 weeks, Mendly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
