# ProbePad vs TermiShell

The clearest difference is update cadence: TermiShell at daily against ProbePad's weekly. TermiShell also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProbePad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and TermiShell sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProbePad ships an update weekly, TermiShell daily. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
