# Media Transcript vs Hush

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hush at every 2 days against Media Transcript's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Media Transcript sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Hush sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Media Transcript ships an update every 3 months, Hush every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
