# Notes vs BlurBox

The clearest difference is update cadence: BlurBox at every 2 days against Notes's every 5 weeks. Notes's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per year and BlurBox sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, BlurBox every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
