# Notes vs DahongMemo

The clearest difference is update cadence: DahongMemo at every 2 weeks against Notes's every 5 weeks. Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per year and DahongMemo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, DahongMemo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
