# Notes vs Notepad

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Notepad at none against Notes's 1. Notes's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per year. Notepad asks for nothing beyond the download.
