# AI Notes vs CarEx

The clearest difference is ads: CarEx at none against AI Notes's shown. CarEx also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Notes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and CarEx sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Notes ships an update every 4 months, CarEx every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
