# The Bulwark vs EggWire

The clearest difference is update cadence: EggWire at every 4 days against The Bulwark's every 5 weeks. EggWire also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). The Bulwark's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 1) and chart position (#51 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for The Bulwark against 5.0 for EggWire. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Bulwark has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
