# Petopia vs HamTower

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: HamTower at 13.0 against Petopia's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Petopia sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and HamTower sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
