# SnapNote vs Offhand

The clearest difference is device support: SnapNote at 4 against Offhand's 1. SnapNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Offhand sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SnapNote ships an update every 6 days, Offhand every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
