# PickNCare vs YarnSnap

The clearest difference is rating: PickNCare at 5.0 against YarnSnap's 4.7. YarnSnap's advantage is ratings volume (44 vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PickNCare sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and YarnSnap sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PickNCare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YarnSnap has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PickNCare ships an update every 3 weeks, YarnSnap weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
