# Metric vs Midilo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Midilo at weekly against Metric's monthly. Midilo also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metric sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Midilo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Metric ships an update monthly, Midilo weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
