# Met vs FoxTrail

The clearest difference is device support: FoxTrail at 3 against Met's 1. FoxTrail also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Met sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and FoxTrail sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Met ships an update weekly, FoxTrail every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
