# FaceCam vs Screenmi

The clearest difference is rating: Screenmi at 4.0 against FaceCam's 3.7. FaceCam's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaceCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Screenmi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screenmi holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceCam has 30 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FaceCam ships an update daily, Screenmi every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
