# Cortex vs CORTEX_

The clearest difference is update cadence: CORTEX_ at weekly against Cortex's every 4 months. Cortex's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cortex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CORTEX_ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cortex ships an update every 4 months, CORTEX_ weekly. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
