# Notepad vs Evolve

The clearest difference is rating: Evolve at 5.0 against Notepad's 4.0. Evolve also leads on ratings volume (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Evolve sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
