# Mind Map AI vs MindBranch

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindBranch at every 3 weeks against Mind Map AI's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mind Map AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and MindBranch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mind Map AI ships an update every 6 weeks, MindBranch every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
