# LIVEorDIE Timer vs Modus

The clearest difference is update cadence: LIVEorDIE Timer at every 3 days against Modus's every 6 weeks. LIVEorDIE Timer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LIVEorDIE Timer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Modus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LIVEorDIE Timer ships an update every 3 days, Modus every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
