# Sync vs MyEx

The clearest difference is monetization model: MyEx at free with in-app purchases against Sync's subscription. MyEx also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sync sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and MyEx sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyEx holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 18 respectively.

Sync ships an update every 2 weeks, MyEx every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
