# Focus Lock vs LBox

The clearest difference is update cadence: LBox at every 3 days against Focus Lock's every 9 days. LBox also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Lock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and LBox sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Lock ships an update every 9 days, LBox every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
