# Tiny Experiments vs Instalog

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tiny Experiments at free against Instalog's freemium. Instalog's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiny Experiments sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Instalog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tiny Experiments against 5.0 for Instalog. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
