# ScanMate vs Voxi Note

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Voxi Note at 44% against ScanMate's 20%. Voxi Note also leads on ratings volume (84 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). ScanMate's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.3) and chart position (#195 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScanMate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Voxi Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScanMate holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voxi Note has 84 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of ScanMate's written reviews are positive against 44% of Voxi Note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ScanMate ships an update every 6 weeks, Voxi Note fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
