# BigChange vs Status

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Status at none against BigChange's 10. Status also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BigChange sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Status asks for nothing beyond the download.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
