# CutCut vs Tab

The clearest difference is update cadence: CutCut at every 3 days against Tab's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CutCut sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tab sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CutCut ships an update every 3 days, Tab fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
