# MindNote vs Cogito

The clearest difference is ads: Cogito at none against MindNote's shown. MindNote's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Cogito sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
