# MindNote vs SpeechBee

The clearest difference is update cadence: SpeechBee at every 2 days against MindNote's every 4 weeks. MindNote's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SpeechBee sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindNote ships an update every 4 weeks, SpeechBee every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
