# BookyAI vs HandNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: BookyAI at weekly against HandNote's monthly. HandNote's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BookyAI sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and HandNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BookyAI ships an update weekly, HandNote monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
