# MyPrinciple vs Afterwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Afterwise at every 4 days against MyPrinciple's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyPrinciple sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and Afterwise sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyPrinciple ships an update monthly, Afterwise every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
