# Smart Memo vs NULL Memo

The clearest difference is ads: NULL Memo at none against Smart Memo's shown. NULL Memo also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 4 days) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Memo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and NULL Memo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Memo ships an update every 4 days, NULL Memo daily. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
