# Focus Loop vs Focus Hour

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Hour at every 2 days against Focus Loop's fortnightly. Focus Hour also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Loop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Focus Hour sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Loop ships an update fortnightly, Focus Hour every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
