# Paintsight vs Undertone

The clearest difference is device support: Undertone at 4 against Paintsight's 2. Undertone also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paintsight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Undertone sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Paintsight ships an update every 2 weeks, Undertone every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
