# Readrrr vs Speech Pact

The clearest difference is rating: Readrrr at 4.5 against Speech Pact's 2.5. Readrrr also leads on ratings volume (48 vs 13). Speech Pact's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readrrr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Speech Pact sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readrrr holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 48 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Readrrr's written reviews are positive against 33% of Speech Pact's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Readrrr ships an update fortnightly, Speech Pact weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
