# Readrrr vs NexaEar

The clearest difference is update cadence: NexaEar at weekly against Readrrr's fortnightly. NexaEar also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readrrr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and NexaEar sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readrrr ships an update fortnightly, NexaEar weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
