# Readrrr vs Elsewhere Reminders

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Elsewhere Reminders at 100% against Readrrr's 29%. Elsewhere Reminders also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Readrrr's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readrrr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Elsewhere Reminders sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elsewhere Reminders holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Readrrr has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of Readrrr's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elsewhere Reminders's.

Readrrr ships an update fortnightly, Elsewhere Reminders every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
