# Readrrr vs hey!

The clearest difference is monetization model: hey! at free with in-app purchases against Readrrr's subscription. hey! also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Readrrr's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readrrr sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and hey! sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
