# Dive World vs WorkBuddy

The clearest difference is rating: Dive World at 5.0 against WorkBuddy's 3.4. WorkBuddy's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (33 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dive World sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and WorkBuddy sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dive World holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkBuddy has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dive World ships an update fortnightly, WorkBuddy weekly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
