# Bothside vs Pulse Vinyl

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bothside at every 6 days against Pulse Vinyl's fortnightly. Bothside also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bothside sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year and Pulse Vinyl sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bothside ships an update every 6 days, Pulse Vinyl fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
