# Sub vs Zido

The clearest difference is ads: Zido at none against Sub's shown. Sub's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Zido sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sub ships an update every 8 days, Zido every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
