# Sub vs Slicer

The clearest difference is ads: Slicer at none against Sub's shown. Slicer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Sub's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slicer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sub ships an update every 8 days, Slicer monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
