# Sub vs Track Subscriptions

The clearest difference is ads: Track Subscriptions at none against Sub's shown. Sub's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Track Subscriptions sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sub ships an update every 8 days, Track Subscriptions monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
