# Sub vs Interest Meter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Interest Meter at every 3 days against Sub's every 8 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Interest Meter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sub ships an update every 8 days, Interest Meter every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
