# Sub vs QuietSub

The clearest difference is ads: QuietSub at none against Sub's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QuietSub sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sub ships an update every 8 days, QuietSub every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
